Lies

I see over on through these windows,

The dawning sun today,

Though it is bright enough,

I cannot see the day.

Over the nights I wonder,

Whether it was all a lie,

For a see-through glass

Can hide it all the way.

The water is clear

I can see the deep bottom.

But still, what I can see is

My own reflection.

The day is full of light

But through the misty clouds,

I can’t make through.

Though it is dark at night,

Dark is all I can make through.
